Mixed Media
In relation to my wardrobe “Mixed Media” pretty much translates to mean an excuse to combine any number of clashing textures, prints, colours etc. etc. Take this outfit for example… I’ve started with a checked base, evoking country connotations and square dancing vibes. Then added a dash of coloured fur (with spots nonetheless), the fact that this eccentric bag comes from House of Holland’s “Debauched Debutantes” collection says it all… Lastly, I’ve completed this clashing ensemble with leopard print, pony hair mules. Subtle.
I like to think somehow these pieces work altogether; at least I’ve attempted to offset the statement styles with a plain, prim mini skirt, right?
