Summer Skin Saviours (For Your Face)
We’re halfway through Sydney’s summer and I’m at the point where I’ve tried and tested so many new SPF products I’ve narrowed down my ultimate favourites for my face. Here are my top three SPF formulations to save your skin from that harsh sun…
- Bobbi Brown’s SPF CC Cream really helps even out skin tone and provides a natural glow, whether you wear on it’s own or under foundation. Of course with SPF 35 this one is just my day to day go-to, keep reading for a better beach day option.
- Dermalogica’s Pure Light is the first thing to go on my skin after cleansing and toning…. every single day! Whether under CC cream or before sunscreen, I haven’t gone a day without it this summer. Plus since I turned 25 I’ve really become aware of sunspots and pigmentation, which this bad-boy really products against.
- For extra-strong protection I’ve been using Ella Bache’s SPF 50 Facesaver Sunscreen. Yup, it’s a heavy formulation but that means it doesn’t budge when I’m at the beach. Don’t bother wearing it with makeup – protecting your skin is much more important so let it perform at it’s best by wearing on it’s own from your forehead to your neck.
