I’m trying to be a conscious consumer. Yeah the fashion industry isn’t alway conducive to being a green, planet loving shopper (how is buying things ever sustainable anyway).
But we can’t be perfect so I think the first step is putting thought into what you buy. So while I’m trying to take a step back from shopping at stores that encourage mass consumption I was pleasantly surprised to find Topshop has sneakily added in some locally made pieces. This dress is made in Britain from beautiful silk and I’m hoping I’ll wear it so many times I can’t count on two hands. Proving you can shop smart at high stores too <3
