I like to think I’m here to make fashion decisions that much easier for you all… That’s why I like to simplify any new season wardrobe additions, narrowing down potential purchases to just a few key pieces.

With how fast trends come around it can be tricky to work out which to actually invest in, which styles are just fads and which are more of a solid investment for the months/years ahead.

Firstly I’m firmly backing flares.  Trust me, they’re here to stay for a while.  So whether you opt for denim pair or you’re brave enough to kick back in a printed design, start planning this purchase pronto!  I’ve made life that much easier with some suggestions below (the $56 Topshop pair are an affordable way to test the waters without parting with all your spare $$$).

The second piece you need to add to your wardrobe ASAP is a turtleneck jumper (or two, or three).  Picking a fitted style is a practical option because of its astonishing layering abilities; think under any jacket, dress or even beneath another sweater.  Fabrication is also key; a wool style is a warm option for winter, while a cotton or cashmere blend is more breathable and can be worn year-round.
