Where To Shop (& Eat) In Auckland
Two weeks on and I’m missing NZ terribly! Luckily I’m making a quick trip over to Wellington at the end of this month, but in the meantime I thought I’d share some snaps I took in Auckland.
I pretty much spent most of my spare time exploring Ponsonby, eatings at cute cafes and consuming heaps of coffee.
Here are my favourite shops, cafes, Auckland people & pooches…
Ponsonby hangs with Georgia and Dan
Deadly Ponies‘ beautiful Ponsonby store, packed with fluffy accessories and their super soft deer-skin bags. Lunching with this beautiful girl at Foxtrot Parlour in Ponsonby (I highly recommend ordering their creamy Coddled Eggs with Soldiers)Lonely‘s beautiful new Ponsonby store is packed with their cool lingerie, loungewear and everyday apparel.
Instax shots from inside the Deadly Ponies and Lonely stores.
An adorable homewares store on Ponsonby Rd.
Kate Sylvester‘s pretty blue Ponsonby store.
Left: The sweet interior of Twenty Seven Names in Ponsonby. Right: Swan Ornaments from Kate Sylvester.
Street-wear store Good as Gold in Ponsonby.
Print and denim lining the walls at Karen Walker.
Rudy patiently waiting for me outside Deadly Ponies.
Lunch at Dear Jervois in Herne Bay between shows. My recommendation is the massive Zucchini Fritter (pictured far right) and for something sweet the Matcha Waffles (top right).Inside Dear Jervois
Hey Rudy! (Couldn’t resist another shot of this cute pooch)
The picturesque setting for NZ Fashion Week at The Viaduct…. Obviously many a cute snap was taken here throughout the week!
Visiting Ruby’s Newmarket store (Here’s where to find the fun floral dress I’m wearing).
